The Station Master's son
Who was never very capable of trying

He put all his aspirations into flying
But did he ever guess he might, get to fly the Knife!!?
For every year they told the tale
An airship that could never fail
The sharpest blade to ever sail
To float against their current lives
To feed their dreams and fill their skies
A flight to rise above the knives
"Fly to the moon and go back in time
Sit on the wave of a cloud"
A message to our Sir Valentine
From somewhere up above
The sum of our lives, could this be the Flight of the Knife??!!!
And so he made his way into a city made of Fire-Trees
Seeking evidence of supernatural soaring
Led beyond the pale into an oceanic brain
Where a purple rain of rockets took to pouring
And on the edge of sound and sight - he overtook the Knife!!!
One sleepy summer's afternoon
The sun got stuck behind the moon
A hush fell down before the boom
And soaring from their left to right
A blazing trail of roaring light
Our Airship and his flying Knife!
Diving and dancing between the breeze
Climbing a ladder of clouds
And no one below him could believe
That one so disavowed
Could turn things to rights
And bring home the Flight of the Knife
And so he flew into the blue
Oh Airship what's become of you!!??
You've really made the grade, you're going to join the ranks today
So go and take your place.........

My senses were shattered to the floor
I asked it what its name was and it answered with ease
As it swung itself in rhythm through a crack in the breeze

When it shot through a hole in the sky?

The Fire-Tree Bird is leaving today

He’s losing his mind, and leaving behind
A fiery world
(It’s so absurd)

Searching to the end of every rope in the stars
But it didn’t leave a note or send a heavenly card
I read the patterns apprehending the wall

It had only just begun when I found out I’d been left behind
Sent adrift among the crooked parts
That were once the greatest ships
Trying hard to get a grip before I fell apart and lost my mind
When a flash from the sky took my mind from my eyes
And the world went spinning out of time
When I woke up, I felt broke up, and I noticed I had changed
A transformation of the brain
A shiny face, a change of pace, and now…
I’m never gonna be the same!!!!

Wandered his days alone, the emblem of a broken man

Fought in the first of what would soon become a wheel of war
Watched as his comrades did a waltz upon the killing floor
Looked to the heavens on a cloudy night
When what should overtake him but The Zero Light
“There is a light they call The Zero Light
And it’s shining just for me

And it’s the only light I see
And I will follow it forever as my followers will grow
Through the deserts, through the valleys,
